He was competitive and had a passion for sport, never giving up on his pathetic Collingwood. He remembered all the sports teams of all his friends and colleagues.
Jezza was recently profiled in the "Communicator" (The Burnie City Council in-house newsletter) When asked, "Who would you most like to be stuck on a desert island with?", Jezza replied "Bruce Mackovaney??, so he could talk about sport."
He loved running with his friends, working out either at the gym or by shifting stacks of chairs or road closure equipment at events.
He was committed to helping sporting clubs reach their full potential by working with them on product development ideas and sponsorships.
The Skilled Burnie Ten, The B&E 321 Go! Patrick Thunder, Burnie Basketball, Targa Tasmania, and Burnie's New Years Day Sports have all experienced the Jeremy White phenomenon.
For a bit of motivational inspiration Jezza would listen to Tiger Dowling's famous race call of the 1977 NYD Sports when Danny Clarke came from behind to win the Burnie Wheel , and Tiger nearly blows a gasket as he screams us over the line.
