"I need to go home and smell my babies".
Jeremy White loved his family above all else. He was always happiest when he was spending time with family and close friends.
He was proud of his beautiful and talented wife. He was very proud of Lawson's values and his sporting and musical abilities and he adored his little "Gracie".
His workspace was covered in fine works and images from Lawson and Eliza. Children generally adored Jeremy because he made them feel ten feet tall.
Jeremy used to say, "My Dad always delivers". He was very proud of Barry and valued his advice and views for what real people in Burnie were thinking. He inherited his work ethic from his Dad.
Jeremy's self sacrificing spirit came from his Mum, Carmel. She taught him "it is better to give than to receive", and how to experience the joy of nurturing and serving.
He never forgot where he came from and he was very proud of his family.
Jeremy's extended family is extensive and reaches into the heart of the Burnie community. He loved Burnie and he felt he belonged here.
The only thing I think Jeremy would change is to not get married on New Year's Eve. He was a salesman at the time and had no idea that future wedding anniversaries would be spent doing a 24 hour shift at "A Night on the Terrace" and a romantic afternoon with Marion on their wedding anniversary would be spent blowing up balloons.
